Cosmetic Dentistry in Merton and Wimbledon - South London Dental Veneers and Composite Fillings

Case B - Dental Veneers

Main Patient Complaint

The patient here complained of discoloured crowded uneven teeth. The patient did not want lengthy expensive orthodontic treatment using a combination of braces and tooth extractions and so we had to find a compromise solution for her that still improved the smile but did not involve very lengthy or expensive treatment.

Solution

Without creating space by removing teeth the amount of correction to the crowding problem was limited therefore a diagnostic wax up on a model of the patients’ teeth was created and shown to the patient for approval before Composite Veneers (Tooth Coloured Facings) were placed on the six upper anterior teeth and two lower central incisor teeth. Home Whitening was also prescribed by our South London cosmetic dentist prior to the placement of composite veneers to generally lighten the dentition and give a bright vigorous smile.

Case C - Composite Fillings

Main Patient Complaint

The patient here complained of discoloured fillings and a gap between her central and lateral incisors which she was not happy with. The patient wanted the most conservative least invasive treatment which can be finished in a single visit

Solution

Both discoloured fillings were removed before “Miris2™” layered composite was used to close up the gap by widening both the central and lateral incisors so that the tooth proportions are not altered. Simple but very effective, pleasing, one visit dentistry by our experienced Wimbledon and Merton dentist!
